VANITY Waitlist Terms of Use

DRAFT — TO BE REVIEWED BY A LAWYER BEFORE LAUNCH

Version of November 7, 2026. These terms apply only to the pre-launch period (waitlist). Full terms of service will apply when the service opens and will have to be accepted again.

1. Who we are

VANITY is published by [PUBLISHER NAME OR COMPANY], [ADDRESS], [REGISTRATION NUMBER] ("we"). Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL].

2. What the waitlist offers

3. Who can sign up

4. Username rules

A username must be 3 to 20 characters (unaccented letters, numbers, dot, underscore). Forbidden: insults, hateful or sexual content, and impersonation of a brand, a public figure, another person or VANITY staff. We may refuse or remove a username that breaks these rules without notice.

5. No cash value

The Founder number, the badge, the place in line and all waitlist benefits have no cash value. They cannot be sold, traded, transferred, or converted into money, credits or any other benefit. This is neither a game of chance nor a prize contest.

6. Prohibited conduct

Creating fake reservations, using bots, using multiple email addresses to move up the line, or trying to bypass the site's protections is prohibited. In case of fraud, we may cancel the reservations involved and the benefits obtained.

7. Opening date

The displayed opening date is indicative. We may change it, or decide not to open the service, without any compensation being owed.

8. Deletion

You can delete your reservation at any time from the link you received by email. We may delete a reservation that does not comply with these terms.

9. Liability

The waitlist is provided free of charge and "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for a temporary interruption of the site or the loss of a reserved username.

10. Personal data

How we process your data is described in the privacy policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [PUBLISHER'S COUNTRY]. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence. In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action.
